Compassionate, qualified and here for you. Meet the team guiding your journey.
I am Charlie, a professionally qualified counsellor and have several years experience working with adults and young people within a range of settings. I hold a corona (NB! Consider update on fully qualified credentials) and I’m a certified integrative counsellor. I am different-minded, I love working hard and talking deeply about real work. This gives the opportunity to connect how life feels to you, on a practical level, as well as the process of finding motivation and time to make change. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Please don’t hesitate to reach out, should you have any questions. I will be glad to help.
Enquire →I began working in education after qualifying as a nursery nurse when my youngest child started nursery. I later became a teaching assistant and went on to complete a B.Ed Honours Degree in Education. My teaching career focused on supporting children with additional needs, progressing to Assistant Headteacher and completing a Master's Diploma in Special Educational Needs. Over 11 years at my previous school, I developed inclusive strategies to help SEND students access the curriculum. I then joined the SEND Team at Milton Keynes Council, working with families, schools, and professionals to implement and review EHCPs. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, knitting, baking, swimming, music, theatre, and spending time with family. I’m very proud to support Charlie with administration at Talkpoint Counselling and help improve access to mental health support.
